Real talk: I've been burned by premium suppliers and discount suppliers alike. The ones I trust are the ones that are consistent, transparent, and genuinely interested in a small customer's problem. If a supplier treats your order seriously, that's a data point. If they don't, it's also a data point.

Run the comparison, do the math, ask for the data. And never let anyone make you feel small for wanting good service on a small order. That's not cheapness. That's good procurement.
