For Generations

Responsible resin supply, documented before it is claimed.

Mosaic treats sustainability as an operating discipline, not a slogan. For polymer and resin customers, a responsible material program has to include credible data, supplier expectations, hazard communication, and realistic boundaries around what the chemical can and cannot claim. We avoid words such as completely safe, non-toxic, or universally eco-friendly. When lower-carbon feedstock, mass-balance allocation, recycled content, or water stewardship is discussed, the account team links the statement to methodology, reporting year, scope, and available verification. This helps customers decide whether a resin is suitable for their own product, not merely attractive in a brochure.

Our commitment statement.

We commit to improve the transparency of resin supply by connecting product stewardship, operational safety, responsible sourcing, and measurable progress. In 2025, Mosaic began reporting energy intensity per metric ton at core compounding sites, expanded SDS response tracking, and introduced supplier code reviews for higher-risk feedstock categories. The program is practical: every claim must have a data owner, a reporting period, and a limitation note.

People

Safety and training

Plant and logistics partners receive recurring training on PPE, spill response, labeling, and SDS Section 2 hazard communication. Incident reviews feed into operating procedures.

Planet

Measured reduction

Mosaic tracks energy intensity, waste handling, and selected cradle-to-gate data. Any CO2e claim is tied to a named reporting boundary and method.

Process

Document control

Sustainability statements are routed with SDS, TDS, CoA, and regulatory notes so buyers can review technical and ESG information together.

Performance

Qualified outcomes

Product performance remains tied to test methods such as ASTM, ISO, DSC, HPLC, GC, or Karl Fischer where applicable.

Ratings and program references are presented as disclosure tools, not as proof that every material is suitable for every application. Customers should review the specific resin grade, SDS, intended use, and market requirements before making claims in finished products.
